MULTIPURPOSE ADVANCE RULES
1.0 Short Title
These Rules maybe called “SJVN Multi-Purpose
Advance Rules”.
2.0 Eligibility
2.1 All full-time employees in the regular Pay Scale
of the Corporation who have satisfactorily completed
their probation period (excluding Trainees and persons
appointed on temporary/contract basis etc.).
Multi-Purpose advance is also admissible to the
employees on deputation subject to the condition that
the entire balance shall be refunded at the time of
repatriation.
2.2 HPSEB employees after absorption in SJVN shall be
eligible for grant of advances during probation period
subject to having served at least one year prior to
absorption in SJVN.
3.0 Purpose
The purpose of the scheme is to grant an
interest-free, recoverable advance to employees to meet
contingency/unforeseen requirements.
4.0 Amount
4.1 The amount of advance admissible to an employee
shall be equal to one- month’s Basic Pay of the
concerned employees on the date of application.
4.2 The advance shall be interest free.
4.3 The advance shall be admissible only once in a
calendar year.
5 .0 Procedure
Employee desirous of availing the Multi-Purpose
Advance shall make a written request directly to Finance
Deptt. in the Annexure.
6.0 Recovery
Recovery of the advance shall be made from the
salary of the concerned employee in not more than 12
equal monthly installments. The first recovery shall
commence from the salary from the month following that
in which advance is drawn.
