Construction Material survey & testing |
Final report has been received from CSMRS and forwarded to design deptt. Additional quarries identified and proposal for testing of samples from the additional quarries has been initiated. |

Detailed Project Report |
DPR was initially submitted to CEA in January, 2009.Additional investigations advised to be incorporated in revised DPR. After needful the DPR was submitted on 30.06.10. |

EIA & EMP studies |
PCB conduted Public Hearing on 22.07.10 at Dewal, near dam site. It was desired from SJVN to visit and make the villagers of Project area aware of the Project benefits. |

CAT PLAN |
Payment against demand note raised for Rs. 5 Lakhs released on 9.03.10 . CAT Plan prepared by DFO Gopeshwarand submitted to CF, Pauri on 19.07.10. |

Diversion of Forest land (211.576 Ha.) |
a) Fact sheet was returned by Nodal officer on 11.05.10 with observations to reduce trees, append Environment Clearance, approved DPR, etc. The observations are being attended. b) Proposal for diversion of 1 ha. Forest land for the construction of bridges for DHEP submitted to DFO, Gopeshwar on 04.05.10. Revised proposal including road & bridge (critical phase) resubmitted on 16.06.10. Proposal has been processed by DFO & after obtaining signature of DM, Gopeshwar, forwarded by DFO to CF, Pauri on 28.06.10. Matter being pursued with CF . |

Acquisition of Private Land ( 31.5 Ha.) |
Sixteen private land case files totaling 20 ha. Land in 16 villages has been processed and 10% advance payment deposited with SLAO, Pauri. Preliminary visit of the site has been carried out by Land Acquisition Staff on 10.03.10. All the 16 case files are under process with
GOUKh. |

Demographic survey |
HNBGU has been asked to include 5 additional villages in the study. Study
in progress. |

Mining clearance |
The application for mining license was submitted for two RBM mines to DM, Gopeswar in June, 2010. GoUK Mining officer visited the sites on 24.06.10 and suggested corrections/ modifications in the appplication. Formally conveyed on 09.07.10. Observations being attended. Counting of trees in the area being undertaken. |

Construction Power |
A requirement of 8 MVA load has been estimlated. The letter regarding load requirements and points of tapping was sent to EE, UPCC. Data regarding the substation in the area have been collected and alternate proposal is being prepared . |

Gauge & Discharge data |
One Guage & Discharge site has been operative at Nand Kesari bridge since 15 Feb.,07 and one at Paithani bridge near outfall since 10.01.08; readings are being taken regularly at both sites. |

Hydro-Meteorological observations |
Readings are being obsereved regularly at Tharali since 07.03.07 and at P.H. site since 08.01.09. |

Collection of silt data and its analysis |
Daily silt samples are being taken as per Design requirement. Report of silt data analysis is being sent to Design office regularly on monthly basis. |
