“SJVN has adopted a Rehabilitation and Resettlement Plan for the rehabilitation of Project Affected Families (PAFs) for its Rampur Hydro Electric Project. Amongst various R&R benefits to be provided to the PAFs one is to provide rehabilitation grant
varying from Rs. 45,000/- to 65,000/- to each landless family. 35 families were identified by Deputy Commissioner, Kullu as rendered landless in Rampur Project. Besides statutory compensation for land, all these landless families received rehabilitation grant of Rs. 18.05 lacs through State Authority and SJVN Authority in a function organized on 05.07.2007 in a project affected village Bayal.”
